South Yorkshire Supertram Engineering Works: 29th & 30th June 2024

As part of the continued £5 million investment by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority towards improvements on the Supertram network there will be more works taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June. These works will see no trams between Hillsborough to Malin Bridge with Blue route services diverted to Middlewood.

During the weekend, services will run as follows:

  • BLUE – Halfway to Middlewood every 12 minutes to a revised timetable
  • YELLOW – Meadowhall to Middlewood every 12 minutes to a revised timetable

To complete their journeys passengers are being advised that it is a 600 metres and 7 minute walk between Hillsborough and Malin Bridge. In addition Supertram tickets will be accepted on First Bus Services 81 and 82 between Malin Bridge and Hillsborough only.

During the closure work will be undertaken on the tracks along Holme Lane.

A normal service should resumed from start of service on Monday 1st July.
